Madrid, 21 September 2018.- Madrid Games Week 2018 will once again devote a special chapter to classic computing and old video games in its most playful side. This is the RetroWorld space, organised in collaboration with the specialist journalist, Juan Carlos “Adonías” Caballero, the fair will be filled with hundreds of arcade and pinball machines, microcomputers and legendary titles to delight the whole family.

RetroWorld will offer youngsters the chance to discover the magic of classic games and turn the oldest games into a surprising and striking novelty. The most veteran gamers will be able enjoy a unique and unrepeatable moment at Madrid Games Week with their children and family.

RetroWorld will also host interesting exhibitions, talks and conferences to discuss the games of the past; new developments for old machines will be presented, and there will be a selection of points of sale where visitors to Madrid Games Week will be able to buy the most exclusive hardware and software.

The commercial and recreational offering at RetroWorld will also include the Videojuegos por Alimentos[Video games for food] charity sale, an initiative that invites visitors to Madrid Games Week to help those most in need, and which asks attendees to bring non-perishable food to be used as currency in the charity market to buy new and second hand goods donated by different companies.

Madrid Games Week 2018, the Video Game and Leisure Electronics Fair, organised by IFEMA and the Spanish Video Games Association (AEVI), is set to be a leading event on the international scene, and an unmissable showcase for all games fans. The fair will be held from 18th to 21st October in halls, 12, 14 and 14.1 at the Feria de Madrid Exhibition Centre, and will provide the Spanish capital with a unique space where visitors can preview exclusive titles, try out next-generation consoles, learn first hand about the latest news and releases, and the proposals in the areas of developers, indies and training, as well as multiple eSportsMangaCosplay, and virtual reality activities, among others.
